Description
Lover’s Leap Waterfall is situated in Nuwara Eliya, 3km away from the Nuwara Eliya town. It is 30 meters high and offers mind blowing views of tea plantations. The fall begins from the highest mountain in Sri Lanka, Piduruthalagala Mountain.
Lover’s Leap Waterfall is a beautiful place to visit. One can have wonderful views of the city as well as the tea plantations from here. You will be left totally mesmerized by the place. One of the oldest hotel in Negombo. It is upgraded to 5 star level. It has a golden sandy beach which is extremely... beautiful in the evenings and early mornings. Daytime it is too hot to enjoy the sea waves. You can watch the beautiful scenery of setting Sun. Hotel atmosphere is calm and quiet.Unfortunately our room had a bad smell and toilet and is not cleaned looking. But we have to tolerate those due to the hardships of ongoing pandemic.All three buffet dishes were served and they were satisfactory.read more

Located in Nuwara Eliya. With in the city limit. You have to climb a hill about 1km to reach the fall. Awsome scene.

It's a 30m drop for lovers leap waterfall. We went by a motorcycle and we were able to climb that drop from the bike.... But from other vehicals you are unable to climb it. You can hike it and it takes nearly 30mins. It's not difficult since yoi'll be rewarded with sweeping views of the country side and tea plantations. After you reach the waterfall its a very calm place. Not crowded. Rocks are slippery. Worth to visit this waterfall.read more

This waterfall is huge. Free entrance BUT some local businessmen will show you the path and then ask for money. 1000 rp... per person. You should talk to guide in advance. Because they don't tell you much. You may not know that you've already bought his service for few thousands.There are three waterfalls up the river. It's worth to visit. You can swim in upper waterfalls. Beautiful.Wear good shoes.read more

The walk up to this waterfall is incredible! I highly suggest walking it all the way up from the bus stop, and try not... to hire a tuktuk if possible, to get the full experience. Walking through hundreds of tea plantations with incredible landscapes all around was something I will never forget! It is a very easy hike in the middle of nature. The waterfall is easily accessible and free of charge. Beautiful!read more

Need to park vehicles in one of their restaurant's car park and have a off road jeep ride and then an amazing cable car... ride to enter to the hotel. It's truly an environmental friendly hotel. Highly recommend for a wonderful and peaceful stay.You can have a guided tour to their private waterfall too. Also you can try some exciting adventure activities freely.read more

What an amazing place to visit when you are in Nuveraeliya. I hiked this place with my wife and 3 year old daughter. We... all were mesmerized with the nature and the beauty of this place. The walk through the misty tea garden and huge pine trees is just memorable. One should definitely visit this place.read more

Lovers leap is an impressive water fall which is known for its romantic folklore.During the trail can observe many... native wild life ,bird and plants spices. bottom of the falls can seen water wipers, it help to creating micro ecosystems. better to take some meals and water.And specially this waterfall is main drinking sours in the NuwaraEliya city.read more
