Gal Oya lodge is an amazing place ,it has games, fun activities and so much more. Apart from that the food was... EXCELLENT! climbing Makarakata was fun and playing around in Gal Oya waterfalls was super. We would always reccommend Gal Oya as a 10! Star hotel, and can't wait to go to go there again . We had an Amazing time at Gal Oya lodge, and it will always be a holiday to remember.read more

ideal luxurious cabana resort for bird wathchers who wanted to visit nearby only" Sawana Jungle" in sri lanka at... Nilagala nad Rathugala and the " Ingininiyagala wild life santury30 km away on route B527 (bibile- inginiyagala highway) in a 23 acre semi jungle property just below the Dorakapolla and Viyanahela mountains sits " the Galoya Lodge " it has 18 luxurious cabanas. scattered within the property . dip in the the swimming pool after a safari is really a treat to enjoy. the food is delecious. staff is well conservant of the fauna and flora in the area and are helpful and curtiousread more

Nothing to beat the Boat Safari in the Senanayaka Samudra. Boat safari is carried out by Wild Life Dept. If you are... lucky you will see elephants swimming.read more

Amazing wilderness experience. Staff service is too notch, from GM Madhushan all the way to the service staff Sisira... and naturalists Charlie and Upul. We had 2 wonderful nights here and all our time was packed with activities including bird walk, river safari (amazing wildlife sightings) and monkey mountain climb. Would have done keep safari if we had an extra day. I recommend 3 nights here as it is far from Colombo and the activity book is endless. Fair warning no internet for your stay, as advertised.read more

For someone who sheepishly admits pizza is not my first go to, the food was pretty amazing and I’d definitely visit... again.Cheesy delicious pizzas, great starters. Our vegetarian friend was well catered for. Relaxed atmosphere where the waiters were quick, friendly and helpful with our BYO drinks.Highly recommend a meal here.read more

Just about everything is perfect. Apart from high rates. We had loads of guests attracted to spend a week there. Away... from busy Arugam Bay.But they all backed out once they seem 50k per night.Plus a difficult and hard to reach location.. 🤔read more

Gal Oya is the place to go in Sri Lanka if you want to experience real off-the-grid holidays! It is both extremely... relaxing and at the same time offer several nature activities. We have done the boat safari, it was one of the most memorable experience in my life...watching a whole herd interacting in front of us....magical! The staff is also very friendly and super professional, and the food is just marvellous! I can't wait to go back there!!!read more
