If the user has a Business Owner role and is on a Premium 1-month or 6-month plan, they will see an “Experiences” option in their dashboard at https://ceylonpages.lk/experiences/. From there, they can easily add, manage, and edit their experiences.
Key details like cancellation policies, booking rules, and other settings are clearly explained to help them complete the listing without confusion.
Step 1: Experience / Activity Details
- Choose Place or Service – Pick which business you’re listing the experience under.
- Experience Name – Enter the title (e.g. Bentota Tuk Tuk Safari).
- Category – Select the category that fits your experience.
- Overview – Add a short summary of the experience.
- Full Description – Provide a detailed explanation of what’s included.
- Cover Image – Upload your main cover image.
- Experience Gallery – Add more images that showcase the experience.
- Languages Offered – Select the languages the experience is available in.
- Duration – Mention how long it takes (in hours).
- When to Book – Choose how early customers should book (hours/days).
- Before Days/Hours – Enter the number based on the selection above.

- Phone Number – The number customers can contact for help.
- Email Address – A valid email to receive booking inquiries.

- Key Benefits – Highlight the top reasons to try your experience.

- Weather-Dependent? – Select if the experience depends on weather. If yes, guidelines will appear.

Step 7: Booking Setup (Day-Based)
This lets customers book and pay for your experience.
A. Pricing Setup
- Pricing Category – Add labels (e.g. Adult, Child, Group of 5) and set prices.
- Sold in Bulk – Enable if one booking includes multiple entries. Set Min/Max quantity per booking.
B. Availability & Rules
- Calendar Display – Choose how far ahead customers can book.
- Buffer Period – Add gaps before or after a booking (in hours/days).
- Quantity Per Day – Set max bookings per day.
- Date Booking Rules:
- Allow single-date bookings
- Set minimum/maximum days for multi-day bookings
- Exclude days (e.g. Sundays)
- Block specific dates (e.g. public holidays)
Step 8: Booking Setup (Time-Based)
This option allows customers to book and pay for specific time slots on your available days.
A. Availability & Rules
- Availability – Set how far into the future bookings are shown.
- Buffer Period – Set time gaps between appointments.
- Quantity Per Slot – Define how many people can book a slot.
- Timeslots – Select days and times for availability.
- Exclude Specific Dates – Block certain dates from being bookable.
B. Pricing Setup
- Pricing Category – Add labels (e.g. Adult, Child, Group of 5) and set prices.
- Sold in Bulk – The ‘Sold in Bulk’ option lets a package be booked by more than one person at the same time.
