Marians Studios

Marians, under the leadership of Nalin Perera was established as a musical band in 1988 and now has marked it’s acme in the music industry of Sri Lanka winning the hearts of millions both locally and globally with the newness and the remarkable change it has brought to the industry as a versatile band covering a wide range of music genres such as pop, semi-rock, and western classical. They have released 15 audio albums and 05 DVD productions thus far.

The vibrant team of multi-talented members under Nalin’s direction broadened their fan-base internationally by catering to a global multicultural audience. They embarked on their very first tour to Dubai in 1993 later followed by more tours to USA, Canada, Italy, France, Australia, Austria, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Bangladesh, Maldives, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan and the United Kingdom.

Marians rebranded their musical identity by being the first to introduce the concept of “Unplugged Music” to Sri Lanka in 2006 which hit off successfully amongst all music lovers both young and old and since then has set a benchmark in the music industry as a band by performing house-full Unplugged concerts over the years.

Marians took a first step in launching their own recording studio in 1997 which has now been re- launched as Marians Studios equipped with state of the art multi-track recording facilities  powered by AVID high definition 5.1 surrounds. The studio is capable of accommodating a 15-member orchestra and does live music postproductions, cinematic music productions and dubbing.

The Marians Sound Gear, which was launched in 2004, is highly equipped with modern sophisticated  high end and professionally maintained sound reinforcement gear, which delivers a clear and smooth  sound to their audiences. Marians over the years is recognized in the industry to be one of the best musical bands in delivering entertainment at concerts, corporate events, dinner dances, sing-alongs, parties and weddings.
