Hillwood College is one of the prestigious girls’ schools in the central hills of Sri Lanka. Steeped in a rich history and tradition, the school has stood the test of time to complete 120 years of scholastic education to generations of young women. Hillwood College was founded in 1890 under the guidance of Church of England, Zenana Missionary Society. Throughout the years Hillwood has produced many great women who served their country and the people bringing great honour to the school.

Today Hillwood College is able to boast of a student population of around 2000 with an ever growing demand for admissions.
