I love everything about the Ibis -Wilpattu. The location is beautiful, natural, and quiet. Rooms are very clean and... comfortable and the tree house is really fun and unique. The lake and property are great for birding and wildlife watching and they offer tours of the National Park and watching birds and nocturnal wildlife at the property. The staff are all very friendly and treat guests like family. The meals are always fresh and delicious, and some of the best food I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I loved being able to plant trees on the property during my visit. I’m greatly looking forward to my next stay!read more

The location of the hotel is amazing : in the middle of nowhere. Only a few rooms available so it’s quiet and calm. You... can relax by just watching the birds in front of the little lake.But here comes the but. The room we had was not that clean, especially the bathroom.Food was good and fresh but it feels very uncomfortable beeing watch by the employees when you eat.
