Foodlands Restaurant commenced operations on 10th December, 1992. The first branch opened at Walkers Building which was one of the most prestigious buildings built by the British in 1840, in the heart of the Kandy City on Dalada Veediya the. Within a short period of time Foodlands Restaurant became a household name in the city and in outskirts mainly due to the quality of food served to the customers with real taste and flavor at an affordable price. Due to the prime location and quality of the foods served it did not take long for Foodlands to capture the local & tourist clientele that visited Kandy throughout the year. As the business activities progressed Foodlands took over the management of Milano Restaurant, in the year 1993!
