Description
Diyaluma Falls is located in Badulla, Sri Lanka. It is 220 m (720 ft) high and the second highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 361st highest waterfall in the world. The Falls are formed by Punagala Oya. In Sinhalese, Diyaluma or Diya Haluma means “rapid flow of water” or may be translated as “liquid light”. The Diyaluma Falls hike, from the bottom to the top is a wonderful experience and it will takes around two hours. On the top of diyaluma falls there is a breathtaking view and series of pools cascading towards the edge of the cliff.
