Prices are really really reasonable. No hidden chargers. 1st floor dining area is also good and well maintaining. Ample parking space is there too and also the security person/ park keeper is very helpful for parking the vehicles.

But waiting time is bit long after odering.
Opening time span should be extended at least for 1 am.

Cheese Kottu is highly recommended and the regular potion is enough for two person.

Acropol Restaurant offers a great atmosphere. The service was okay, though a bit slow in bringing the chicken nuggets. The food was decent—loved the fresh mango milkshake and chicken burger, while the chicken mee goreng noodles could use some improvement. Prices are reasonable, making it a good value for money. Washroom facilities need improvement. The availability of parking is a definite plus.

I recently bought two chicken koththus from Acropol, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. From the moment we entered, the customer service was poor. My mum and I had to stand for an extended time, and not a single staff member offered us a seat or showed any courtesy.

When we finally got home and opened the koththu, it was far from what I expected. The dish was a strange yellow color, and it tasted bland, almost as if it was just "yellow." The quality and flavor were nothing like what I used to enjoy at this place.

Acropol used to be one of my favorite spots for koththu, but this experience has really changed my opinion. Both the service and the food quality have gone downhill, and I’m truly disappointed.

Visited the restaurant recently and had a mixed experience. The food was okay, not extraordinary, but it met basic expectations. The ambiance was pleasant enough to enjoy a meal, though nothing particularly remarkable.

I was initially disappointed to find that shawarma wasn’t available when I asked for it, as it was one of the reasons I visited. Instead, I ordered the chicken and prawn nasi goreng. The dish was decent, but not something I’d go out of my way to recommend.

Overall, a passable experience—fine for a casual meal, but not a place I’d rush back to.

Useless service where they don’t attend to your order and bring things you don’t ask for and don’t bring what we order.
The ac isn’t working and is extremely sweaty and they say they are renovating where as this should be done after closing the restaurant.

If you see the advertisement as feelo offer from that cheap shop. That is totally fake. They will not give a discount as an advertisement on feelo website. I got Beef shawarma. It is disgusting. Never recommended anyone to buy anything from this cheap restaurant. I saw another feelo customer also get in trouble in the restaurant . If you are a feelo using a customer never try this restaurant. Shawarma was not tasty either.

One of the worst restaurants I dealt with in Sri Lanka in all respects. Prices and quality of food. The staff in the restaurant, especially the one in charge of preparing the shawarma, has very bad manners. He is an unclean person and is always complaining and gives you the opposite of the order you ask for. I asked him for one shawarma. I waited for about half an hour and in the end it ended. It caused me stomach upset and poisoning. I do not advise all Arabs to go to this restaurant at all and beware of it

A cozy and comfortable restaurant. It looks small from the outside but is spacious inside. We visited for lunch and ordered chicken rice and curry, which was served within 10-15 minutes. The rice looked appetizing and was delicious, though it wasn't quite hot enough. The staff were friendly, and vehicle parking is available as well.

The worst restaurant experience of my life. I went there a few weeks ago and they didn't even have a proper dining area on the ground floor the spacing wasn't set right. The food was horrible, without a doubt the worst Mee goreng or noodle dish I have ever had. The Mee goreng had pineapples in it. The service was slightly good, most waiters were unhelpful when we arrived and we had to wait for a long time just to get a waiter. Since he was decent in his service, that's the only reason I didn't give service a one star like the rest.

The food was delicious, and the service was also commendable. However, the cleanliness could be improved a bit, especially during busy times. When we visited, the place was quite crowded. We ordered Tom Yum soup, Mee Goreng noodles, a crispy chicken sub, hummus shawarma, cheesy fries with chicken, and chicken lollipops. While the soup and noodles were average, the other dishes were enjoyable.

Worst restaurant experience ever at overpriced Acropol

Acropol was hands down the worst restaurant we have ever been to. Upon entering, we struggled to find a table and the waiters on the first floor were completely unhelpful. We finally found a haphazard table on the ground floor, but it didn't get better from there.

The food was a massive disappointment and way overpriced for the low quality they served. The Beef Mee Goreng, which was ridiculously priced, had barely any beef, used vermicelli instead of egg noodles, and was overwhelmed by pineapple - a far cry from authentic mee goreng. The Chicken Lollipop was drenched in an unappetizing sauce, and the Garlic Bread with Cheese was clearly microwaved. The prices were exorbitant considering the subpar food quality.

The only slight positive was the service from our waiter on the ground floor, but it couldn't save the overall experience.

With the frustrating seating situation, extremely disappointing and overpriced dishes, and subpar microwaved food, Acropol is definitively the worst restaurant I have ever visited. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this ripoff joint and find food elsewhere that actually provides value for your money. Dining here was a complete waste of time and an assault on my wallet. Spare yourself the misery and steer clear of Acropol.

I had a disappointing experience with the handling of orders at this place. I waited for over 30 minutes for a crispy chicken shawarma, which was quite frustrating. The service is poor. We waited for a staff to give our order more than 15 min with menu card. Than one waiter came and took my order (2 chicken shawarma, 1 Pepsi). After that we waited more 30 mins for the food. Staffs were roaming here and there but no one cared our table. People who came after us received the food before we get. Finally another different staff brought the food and served without soft drink ( Pepsi). They forgot the Pepsi or not read the order properly.
But when I received the the bill I saw that they charged for the Pepsi which I didn't got. Once I explained that, they took the bill and corrected.

Every Friday, we buy food for all our staff from Acropol, expecting a special rice & curry since it's a special day. However, the chicken rice & curry we received, priced at 620 rupees, was extremely disappointing. It included beans, making it look like normal hotel food, which we estimate to be worth only around 380 rupees. The quality was poor, and overall, it felt like a waste of money and was highly unsatisfactory.

The Acropol Restaurant gave us a pleasant surprise and good service. They were full when we arrived despite the fact we found a spot after 05 10min waiting.
The staff was super helpful and friendly. They explained everything for us without any hesitation.
Food portions were quite enough for 03 people if you happen to buy large rice or kottu.
In our case we bought one large rice and kottu platter well enough for 05 people.
Ice milos hit differently they are more likely of the taste of Nesquick rather than the Milo taste.
No hidden charges or services charges in Acropol Restaurant while you dine in.
Also reasonable pricing of the items are very attractive. Foods are really good and tasty.

Third grade service customer handling poor, mismanagement. It took more than 1 hour to receive the food after taking so long they tell us 2 of the items we ordered will take even longer than that. the waiters were serving the food to the tables without knowing who's order it is. Waiters need to be trained to do there job. According to my experience I'm never recommending anyone to visit this place. Kolpity plaza hotel service is much better than this, atleast they know what their customer has ordered.

Ordered a seafood fried rice by uber eats and there was a big stone in my food. I was really disgusted and lost my appetite, still have no appeal for food because of how disgusting it was. I recently dined at Acropol Restaurant and had an outstanding experience! The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal with friends or family. The menu offers a great variety of delicious dishes, and everything we ordered was flavorful and beautifully presented. One of the best parts is that their regular portions are very generous – they can easily serve two people and you’ll eat to your fullest! The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes – you won’t be disappointed! I will definitely be coming back.

I recently savoured Shawarma, Paratha with Chicken Kurma, and Chicken Kottu, each dish offering a distinct culinary experience.
The Shawarma was exceptional, with succulent, spiced meat with stuffed fries encased in a soft pita, enriched by creamy sauce and fresh vegetables. Each bite delivered a burst of Mediterranean flavours.
Next, the Paratha with Chicken Kurma was a delightful fusion. The paratha, crisp yet tender, paired perfectly with the kurma's rich, creating a harmonious blend of textures and flavours.
Lastly, the Chicken Kottu was a standout. This Sri Lankan dish combined shredded roti, chicken, and vegetables into a flavorful stir-fry, spiced to perfection, and offering a satisfying, hearty meal.
Together, these dishes showcased a vibrant medley of spices and culinary traditions, leaving a lasting impression.

I bought a large egg koththu. As for the portion, one can be enough for someone who can eat well. Or two people can eat. Kottu is very tasty. Customer service is also very friendly. I recommended this‌ place.💯👌

We enjoyed a dinner here on our first night in Colombo. The meals were fresh and generous portions. We had the hummus, beef/chicken shawarma, butter prawns, and 2 x Kulfi for dessert for just 6,000lks.
