Description
Adam's Peak is a 2,243 m tall conical mountain located in central Sri Lanka. It is well known for the Sri Pada, i.e., "sacred footprint", a 1.8 m (5 ft 11 in) rock formation near the summit, which in Buddhist tradition is held to be the footprint of the Buddha, in Hindu tradition that of Hanuman or Shiva and in some Islamic and Christian traditions that of Adam, or that of St. Thomas.

A great place to spend some free time. A quiet environment for the whole family to spend a vacation. This place is... located at a very high altitude and has a beautiful surroundings. The climate here is mild. This green area is a great place for those who like to enjoy nature. There are some very nice places to take photos. An easily accessible place for those in the city of Colombo. I am a photographer. I have had the opportunity to take photos of this place several times. There I was allowed to do my job successfully. I went there for my quarantine purposes. The view from the room was breathtaking all the rooms were headed towards the... sea. Staff service was also good. Couldn’t use the other facilities since I was in quarantine.read more
