Description
Bambara Kiri Ella is situated close to Rattota town in Matale District. The fall is set amidst the mesmerizing greenery of the Knuckles mountain range. Bambarakiri Ella is a fall of 10m. A very old-fashioned suspension bridge (Hanging Bridge) extends over the falls. The rock pool at the base of the waterfall is safe for a dip during the dry summer but can be very dangerous during the heavy rainy season.

Bambarakiri Ella FallsBambarakiri Ella is located beside the Matale – Illukkumbura-Pallegama Road. When you are approaching Teverston peak or Knuckle Conservation Forest from Matale side along this road, the Waterfall is on the right-hand side and it is only 6km away from Rattota Town. The waterfall is popular among local tourist and it is one of the location they wait to refresh and have bath when they are coming back from the Reverston

A beautiful and a peaceful place. Where you can visit at any time. The walking path starts from here and ends with the galle fort where the clock tower is situated at. The distance from light house to clock tower is at least 1-2 kilometers.

A nice and serene place to stay and dine in..Food is really good.. Prices are a bit on the higher side but affordable..Friendly staff and calm environment..Overall a good experience..

One of the most Wonderful place with noice of waterfall.... U can easily visit this place.... Just go and park ur vehicle ( There r no proper parking setup, but there r spaces to park) and have to walk around 300m and the u will see a suspension bridge which is around 50m length.... from there u can see the waterfall.... Then just walk through the bridge and u can have a bath there.... But should be careful as the depth is slightly high..... Can have a wonderful visit here and I highly recommend this place💚

Nice location on the way to Reversten.. we have to walk along a Hanging Bridge .. cool water bathing place.. but somewhat deep.

I think they're building a dam below the main waterfall ruining the beauty as usual. The hanging bridge also is slowly but surely deteriorating. So take care and mind your step.

Unable to bath due to Ongoing hydro project.There is nice sangili bridge over there.Not good place to visit with kids due to the condition in the bridge.

Dangerous to swim. Bridge was too old and have to be careful with steps. Have to take a 5min walk from the road. No parking. Can be parked in the sides of road.

I went on a cycling trip to Udawattakele with my two boys (age 11 and 13). We had fun ride across the park and it awesome ride with nature.

Really beautiful place and lake built by giant bulatha in King Dutugemunu era. People are poluting the surrounding area of the lake. You can go boat ride and you can bathe here too. It is crowded on weekends. Car park is available too. Dont follow the google map.

A best place for fast foods. Preferable for parties, meeting or discussion. All the menu items are tasty. Specially beef chop with naan.

I am a regular customer of Devi Jewellers and brought many pieces of jewellery. Until yesterday I thought they were good in service. But the truth is they will treat you well only when you spend a huge amount of money (or if you are buying new jewellery). Yesterday, I went to do a length correction of a bracelet I brought for my mother a few months ago from Devi Jewellers. After entering the jewellery, the person at the entrance asked for the need and instructed us to wait for our turn. We waited around 1.5 hours for our turn, but they provided service to the customers who came later than us, and they provided merely dump excuses for their actions. After 1.5 hours, when we got a turn, the employee refused to do the change and asked to come on another day to fix that. They could have simply asked me to come another day without wasting my time. It is good to learn about Devi Jewellers this way, and it is my time to find a better jeweller with better service even though a few bucks are more.

It is a very nice waterfall. It is also safe to bath.You have to cross a hanging wooden bridge to get to the other side. So be careful when you walk on the bridge. The wood of the hanging bridge has decade. The waterfall is created as a several layers. It has created a natural pools. The water is very clear. You can walk to the upper side of the waterfall. It is a very beautiful waterfall. Please don't leave polythene bags and plastics. There are some trashs left at the water. Please don't ruin the natural beauty of this waterfall.
