One of the best hotels to visit. This hotel includes the bar, restaurant, gym, volleyball court, badminton court, pool... table and many more—direct access to the beach. Very spacious. The staff is very friendly. The buffet was offered, and they make custom menus as well—value for money. The rooms were awesome, spacious and sanitized well. The hotel was very well cleaned.read more

Welcome drink was served soon after we checked -in.Rooms were given too before the usual check in time. Very spacious... rooms and spacious bathrooms. Tea /coffee and creamer were given whenever we ask no matter how many times. It was delivered immediately. Buffet was great! Not much of a selection but Delicious food. Restaurant staff was very nice. Very efficient staff. It’s not a brand new hotel. It’s an old colonial type hotel. Nice ambiance. Loved the stay❤️read more

We stayed there on last weekend. Check in was done smoothly and the staff were very friendly. Our room was very clean... and the view to the ocean was fantastic. I just want to mention their food is delicious with lovely varieties. Thank you for the staff who served us at the restaurant. We will surely come back.read more

Arranged for my fiancee to stay here during her quarantine day when flying into Sri Lanka and I must firstly... acknowledge the management and staff for being super helpful and always available during her stay.The hotel itself is in a beautiful location and seaview suits were great and a nice library to pass your time.read more

Amazing quarantine experience!My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks at the start of March. We were one of the... first few guests to try the new scheme and it couldn’t have gone any smoother. The hotel was so well prepared and organised, the food was great and the team went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, relaxed and entertained. We surfed, practiced yoga, played badminton and enjoyed the company of the other guests. We are now out exploring Sri Lanka for the next 3 months, and feel it was a small price to pay to gain access to this beautiful island! I highly recommend.read more

During our two week quarantine stay at the Mermaid Hotel, we were able to use the pools, gym, play badminton, table... tennis, beach volley ball, water polo, pool/billiards and most importantly, go surfing every day. We participated in yoga classes every morning plus there were others including aqua gym, salsa and many more, all included in the price.The rooms were very pleasant with timber flooring and furniture and a large glazed door and window that face out toward palm trees where little Indian palm squirrels ran around. Large balconies with comfortable seating allowed for beautiful views where you can relax and watch or listen to the waves - the ocean is quite literally a stone's throw away.In terms of food, we were very impressed; there was a remarkably diverse spread which changed every day and the staff were genuinely so lovely and always happy and willing to help. We're very grateful for our stay and thank everyone at the hotel for making us feel so welcome.Bohoma istuti!read more

Location is great, actually we took 3rooms. Room service is very bad, Doesn’t have a quality TV connection. 1st time I... saw 4 star hotel doesn’t have the water bottles for the rooms.read more

Stayed in one night. you can do many enjoyable things here. food is delicious. room and swimming pool is good. but... must improve their wifi connection & cable tv connection. wifi connection is little bit slow. overall had a good experience. recommended.read more

Great place, you'll never get a better view from the price you paid in this place. Infinity pool will give you one of... the best sun sets you'll ever see.. the green on the surround and the sea view from the room and walking distance to one of the most attractive beaches from hotel are really really luxury. Food was really good. If you love staying out of vehicles, artificial sounds and love enjoying nature, views, greens.. you cannot ask for more! Definitely will be back!read more
