The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged to stay at. At first I was a bit reluctant to choose this hotel, that was all because of me not knowing about the place but this place is really a PEACE HAVEN. The staff was really hospitable. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Srilanka but this is still on the top of the list of best stays. The send off was so much touching ❤️❤️

Marvellous location. Splendid large rooms with luxury bathrooms. Food is so delicious that I thought I was in a French restaurant. So every topic was fautless, why such a low mark? Cause I like music, danse, fun... and there weren't. Too quiet, boring for me.

The Southern Coast is littered with many star class properties but Anantara Tangalle is the best out of them all. The buffet is extensive and very tasty. The service is exceptional. The property assigns every guest a butler. And we were well looked after. The property itself is quite extensive and there are plenty of things to do on site. The good highway connectivity makes this an easy place from which to explore the rest of the province from.If you are an early riser would recommend you walk up to the view point for an exceptional sunrise.

One of the best hotels in SL. We were there for our honeymoon. Hotel staff was friendly and the environment was peaceful and calming. It has a very big land to explore with tree houses, paddy fields, herb garden etc. Also you can access the beach from the hotel which is very clean. We got to have buffet menu for all 6 meals we had for 2 day stay.

Nicely done rooms. Reasonably rich and delicious buffet. Rooms are less congested , compared to Jetwing Jaffna. Run with minimum staff.

Nestled right in a picturesque southern shore. This property was opened in 2016. The resort is vast and has more green space and leisure activities.The sun rise and sun rise views comes with an obstructed view.The sea shore also has small pools that are teeming with marine life and also sea urchins which you should be aware of if you are walking bare feet.

Food was tasty but a bit oily. Visited in a while.....so felt that it wasn't upto previous standards. Staff was lovely.

Everything with Anantara Tangalle was near perfection. Food to Service to comfort to location that was very eye pleasing and close to heart. We will be revisiting annually. Guest guide was also very helpful with arrangements especially for my infant son. Pleanty of in house activities to natures waljs to carry on during the stay.

It was an extremely wonderful, peaceful & mind blowing experience. Lots of activities in the resort premises. Precious rooms, mouth watering buffet. Friendly & halpful staff. We were hosted by Sahan Mendis who was really helpful & kind.

A review of our experience in December 2019 (we are currently reminiscing over our photos). Loved every moment of our 9 night stay in the Anantara - staff were wonderful, as was the hotel and location. Happy memories of relaxed walks in the evening along the beach, relaxed days by the pool, and enjoyable food. Want to return there someday!

Good service and good deserts, however their quality of food has become extremely poor. Iv been coming here for the past 10 years and it's extremely disappointing, this is the second time this happed and I wanted to barf after the main course.Nice place , nice ambience but horrid food

This is the most valued hotel I have ever visit in Sri Lanka. The authentic Sri Lankan culture, hospitality and nature can be experienced. The Staff was extremely friendly, well organized and watchful about all the customers without gradation which is also much more than the expectation. Food and other services are extremely valued for the price and this hotel can be easily recommended to anyone in the world to have a visit and feel it.

Beautiful location, superstar team! Sahan, our Villa Host, front-ended the entire experience, with an amazing supporting cast. From the traditional drumming and bespoke wood sanitizer stand at arrival to the constant concern about sufficient vegetarian fare for us, a well integrated, delightful stay. The entire team's infectious energy, enthusiasm and hospitality made the stay particularly special. Well done, team Anantara Peace Haven - and thank you.

This was one of the best places I've stayed at. The staff makes you feel like royalty. The food was superb. The rooms and ambience of the villas were simply amazing. Definitely an experience worth going through at least once in a lifetime. The wildlife around the villas were also quite a fun experience.

Haven is in the name of this resort and what a peaceful haven it is.We stayed here towards the end of our tour of Sri Lanka for 5 nights. We stayed in the beach access room block 5. The room was fantastic and literally a matter of steps to get on to the beautiful beach.The hotel is intimate and the service is fantastic. Would loved to have stayed longer and will definitely return in the future.Positives to mention:The spa- I had three massages in my stay and all with the same therapist Pushpa who is brilliant.Complimentary Meditation and YogaWide variety of breakfastClean and well kept groundsLovely swimming poolFisherman on the beach and you get to choose your fish you want to eat for lunch! Which was delicious! Pics attached is to this review.Only negative I can think of is that in comparison to other parts of Sri Lanka the food was expensive. We wish we booked half board which I recommended to anybody considering booking this hotel as there isn't much going on in the local area and the hotel is the best option for your evening meal.We Will definitely be back one day!
