Description
The Ravana Cave has located about 2 km from the Ella town and 11 km (7 mi) away from Bandarawela. It is quite a small cave, measuring about 50ft wide, 150ft long and 60ft high. History says that the cave is used by King Rawana to hide Princess Sita.
The cave lies 1,370 m (4,490 ft) above sea level on the foundation of a cliff and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Sri Lanka with historical value.

Nice location. Don't assume the parking is full and walk to the place. Drive till the gates and there is a person to... control the parking. No parking fees taken.Try to avoid crowded dates. The road is so narrow and can cause unnecessary waiting due to traffic.Lovely place. Cool misty surroundings. Enjoy the adisham drinks and strawberries. You can complete site seeing with in half an hour but may spend another hour wondering and taking pictures 😁read more

Its a very relaxing place. Perfect to come and chill in the night after travelling around Ella. They have build in a... unique concept. Swinging beds and chars. Also bean bags and pool table if you wanna play a game. Its located in the city as soon as you enter to the station road.read more

Short and sweet "Highly recommend this place". First I want to mention the staff I met there. I don't know the names... but they offer a great, fast and friendly service. The place is also great. Nice place but if you wants to see the full view then you must go day time before 3 pm or 4 pmIf you go around 5 then... no use because inside you can not see anything other than bats ? because full of dark. Before you enter the starting point you must take tickets ? ?read more
