Description
Bissa Villa is located less than 1 minute walk from Palugaswewa railway station, in Palugaswewa - North Central Province, Sri Lanka. Palugaswewa is a small farming village next to Habarana town, surrounded with paddy fields, jungles and reservoirs ('-wewa' means a reservoir in Sinhala). Our place 'Bissa Villa' is named after Sri Lankan traditional rice storage called 'Bissa' (pic) as it reflects a character of widespread paddy fields in our neighbourhood.
Bissa Villa is in the centre of cultural triangle. An ideal place as a hub to access popular destinations (Sigiriya, Polonaruwa or Kaudulla National Park etc) by public transport or car.

We visited this hotel the last month, The staff were very great and quality service so, the eat is varity and excelent... , also the rooms were clean and comfort bed. it has a fantastic location.read more

Lovely family run guest house inside a big garden. There were lots of mangos and coconuts grown naturally inside the... garden. The owner even let me pick them up to taste. :-)Very clean and has good standard and taste. The family run this place is genuinely kind. I totally enjoyed very authentic Sri Lankan home life during my stay with their mum's best curry!read more

Very good place to stay. Me I rent a scooter during my stay. It’s help me to go around easily. If not it’s a bit far... from attractions. Very good value for money. And the people’s who run this place are lovely!!! I recommend strongly!!!read more
