Water Edge Resort is located in the small fishing village of Arugam Bay, south of Pottuvil in the Ampara District. Set right on the beachfront, we're only a few minutes walk away from the Arugam Bay Point, which is among the top 10 surf points in the world. But, this is not all. At Water Edge Resort, we ensure you don't miss out on the fun. Make sure you get up early to catch the sunrise over the sea. The sky is ablaze with shades of bright orange, yellow and red, making the area ever more picturesque.
Stroll along the beach, or take a dip in the waters when the sun goes down. Or, if you dare, get on your surfboard and pick the right wave. Better still, the area is rich in wildlife. Drive into the wilderness of Kumana to see for yourself. If you are looking for more adventure, get on your jeep, fasten your seatbelt and make your way towards the sand dunes of Panama. Alternatively, if you are looking for some peace and quiet, unwind at our beachside cabanas or sway in the breeze on the outdoor hammocks. Very bad experience. We paid 10000 advance and reserved 3rooms 2 weeks back and once we reached there from colombo they... told that hotel is fully booked and no rooms available.. we had to find another place to stay wasting our time and destroyed our mood. Rooms are very untidy, bad smell coming out. Bathrooms also same. Photos in google & booking.com are totally different. Think twice before u select this place.read more

It was worst experienced once ever experienced in my life and I would not recomend this hotel for anyone. We have... booked the hotel by looking at the photos they have advertised in the google and other websites. Once you visit the place you will realize the reality of it and it's like a hell. We have booked the the hotel through online and paid the amount for our reservation. Onnce we reached there from colombo, they were informed that there's no room availability and we had to search another hotel for our stay. Futher, there rooms are like hell and I won’t recommend to stay for this hotel and please beware about this..read more

It was an amazing stay at Water Edge.
